David Cook .



American Idol Season 7 contestant Cook was born in 20th of December 1982 at Houston- Texas. He grew up in Blue Springs, Missouri, and currently lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Graced with a rocking voice, spiky hair and a gift for one liners. His mother is Beth Foraker and his brothers are Adam Cook and Andrew Cook. David’s talent other than singing is an expert television watcher.

After graduating from Blue Springs South High School – where he played with his band, Axium – Cook studies graphic design at Central Missouri State University.

David cook, who sang and played guitar in two bands before Idol, was accidentally intend the audition. When he went to the Omaha cattle call, he was there to support his brother Andrew, who didn't make the cut. But producers persuaded David Cook to tryout, and he blew the judges away with his rendition of Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer." Making it all the way to the finale, the Midwestern rocker beat the boy wonder for the American Idol title.

Impressively, after became the winner of American Idol, David already has set impressive records, including the casting of 97 million votes and the breaking of the record for most text messages, and the receipt of an apology from Simon Cowell.

Prior to Idol he released an album entitled Analog Heart, and his post-Idol self-titled album, produced by Rob Cavallo, was released on November 18, 2008 and has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA.
